Why Genetic Modification is Genesis 6:4 all over again

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. – Genesis 6-4

The spiritual fact “There is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9) is the essential key to unlocking the Genesis 6 prophecy for our current age. The method of attack may change, but the objective of the fallen powers remains constant: the contamination of the human blueprint. The first incursion detailed in Genesis 6:4 was a physical, genetic mixing, where the “Sons of God” (spiritual beings, fallen angels) deliberately corrupted the human genome by interbreeding with the “Daughters of Men.” This was an act of cosmic rebellion that produced the Nephilim, a hybridized race. The power of the fallen angels was not just in their supernatural strength, but in their ability to manipulate the very building blocks of life.

Today, we are witnessing the revival of this same forbidden project, not through crude, physical cohabitation, but through clinical precision: Genetic modification. Technologies like CRISPR and synthetic biology gives modern man the tools to edit the human code, a right once reserved for the divine Creator, and one arrogantly seized by the Watchers. This is Genesis 6:4 all over again framed by science rather than superstition. The goal is to create a “perfected” human (transhuman) who is resistant to disease, potentially immortal, and radically separated from the natural, created order.

The current ambition of Transhumanism is the philosophical successor to the Nephilim project. It seeks to break the biological and spiritual limits of man by merging human biology with machine intelligence and perpetual genetic editing. This is the ultimate expression of the “fallen race” creating an updated version of themselves in a “fallen world.” The Nephilim were the product of a mixed seed; the transhuman is the product of a mixed machine and seed.

Even pursuits like cryonics (the freezing of human bodies for future revival) reveal a deep-seated rejection of mortality and the natural rhythm of life and death re-established by God after the first Genesis corruption. It is an engineering solution to a spiritual problem. We have moved past merely treating diseases; we are aggressively rewriting the source code of humanity. When we look at the potential for designer babies, or the push to integrate human consciousness with digital networks, we must ask: Are we not simply paving the way for the return of a new “mixed” humanity?

There are towering institutions of Big Tech, Big Pharma, and Global Government, all built on the foundation of tools that seek to manipulate and control the sacred integrity of man. The physical giants of old were signs of the corruption; the technological giants of today are the corruption.

Sons of God

To argue that modern science is fulfilling ancient prophecy, we must first solidify the prophetic foundation. The great debate often centers on the identity of the “Sons of God.” The prevailing, ancient view supported by early church fathers and detailed extensively in the Book of Enoch is that these were fallen angels (B’nai Ha’Elohim) who left their first estate to corrupt mankind. The alternative, the Sethite Theory, argues they were simply the righteous descendants of Seth marrying the wicked descendants of Cain.

However, the consequences in Genesis 6 are too drastic for a simple marriage misstep. When the Bible discusses the Nephilim, it is describing a hybrid. The language in Jude 1:6 reinforces the angel view, speaking of the angels “who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own habitation.” For their rebellion, they are “bound in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day.”

This is crucial: the ringleaders of the Nephilim project are currently bound. But their ideology, their blueprints, and the lesser demonic entities who assist them are active. They are waiting for the final days (Matthew 24:37, referencing the days of Noah) for the full project to be unleashed again.

Giants Were Here

Physical evidence, though often suppressed or distorted by secular academia, points to the existence of these ancient hybrid beings. Accounts of massive skeletons, megalithic architecture that only giants could move, and worldwide legends of giant kings and builders testify to the fact that these beings were real and walked the earth. The biblical narrative never lets us forget them. From the Anakim in Canaan who terrified the spies of Moses to Goliath of Gath, the “trail of giants” spans the entire Old Testament. They were physical proof of a contamination that God had tried to quarantine. The physical existence of these giants proves the premise: that supernatural beings can and did manipulate physical life on Earth. The question for us now is, why would they stop?

The Battle Continues

We live in a time of unprecedented darkness. Times are hard, times are bad, and the air is thick with spiritual tension and prophetic fulfillment. The consolidation of political, economic, and technological power proves the Giants are here, the towering forces seeking to dominate every sphere of human life. We are watching the spiritual war escalate. This conflict will not be won by political activism or technological counter-measures. This is the fallen race attempting to complete its work against a humanity that belongs to God.

The message of hope is not in resisting the technology itself, but in resisting the spirit behind it. You don’t have to fight this war on their terms. The greatest act of rebellion against the spiritual powers is complete, unwavering surrender to Christ.

The final victory belongs to those who detach from the chaotic, corrupted system of the Giants and anchor their hope in the unshakable foundation of the Creator.

Our only refuge is to hide in the rock of ages.
