“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

This verse encourages us to prioritize our relationship with God early in life. By remembering our Creator in youth, we can establish a strong foundation for a lifelong faith. This doesn’t mean older adults can’t develop a relationship with God, but rather that the formative years of youth provide a unique opportunity for spiritual growth.

The phrase “before the days of trouble come” acknowledges that life can be challenging. As we age, difficulties may arise, and our priorities may shift. By seeking God in youth, we can develop a strong spiritual foundation to navigate life’s complexities. This verse invites us to be intentional about our faith, recognizing the fleeting nature of youth and the importance of spiritual roots.

Let us prioritize our relationship with God, regardless of age. May we remember our Creator, seek His guidance, and cultivate a deepening faith. By doing so, we can experience the joy, purpose, and fulfillment that comes from knowing and following God.
