“The foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.” (1 Corinthians 1:25)

This verse challenges our conventional understanding of wisdom and strength. The world often measures success and power by human standards, but God’s ways are counterintuitive. The cross, which seems like foolishness to the world, is actually the ultimate expression of God’s wisdom and power. By embracing what appears weak and foolish, God reveals the limitations of human understanding and showcases His own superior wisdom.

The cross-centric nature of God’s wisdom and strength means that true power is found in sacrifice, humility, and love. This paradoxical approach to life turns human expectations on their head, calling us to trust in God’s unconventional methods. As believers, we are called to embody this wisdom, recognizing that our weaknesses can be opportunities for God’s strength to shine through.

Let us embrace the wisdom of the cross, trusting in God’s unconventional ways. May we find strength in weakness, and may our lives reflect the paradoxical power of God’s love. As we surrender our own understanding and strength, may we experience the transformative power of God’s wisdom, which is wiser than human wisdom, and His strength, which is stronger than human power.
