Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. – (Romans 12:13)
In this verse, the Apostle Paul reminds us of the importance of sharing with others and showing hospitality. As followers of Jesus, we are called to live lives of generosity and kindness, caring for those in need and welcoming others into our lives. This can take many forms, from providing practical support to those who are struggling, to opening our homes to friends and strangers alike.
When we share with others and practice hospitality, we reflect the love and character of God. We show that we value relationships and community, and that we are willing to put others’ needs before our own. This can be challenging, especially in a world that often prioritizes individualism and self-interest. But as we follow Jesus’ example and live out our faith in practical ways, we can experience the joy and blessings that come from serving others.
As we seek to live out Romans 12:13, let us ask God to give us eyes to see the needs around us, and hearts that are willing to respond. May we be known for our kindness, generosity, and hospitality, and may our lives be a reflection of the love and compassion of Jesus. By sharing with others and practicing hospitality, we can build stronger relationships, foster a sense of community, and bring glory to God.
