“But whoever loves God is known by God.”- 1 Corinthians 8:3

In this simple yet profound verse, the apostle Paul reminds us that our relationship with God is not just about knowledge or doctrine, but about love. To love God is to know Him, and to be known by Him. This is a beautiful picture of the intimate and personal nature of our relationship with God. When we love God, we are not just obeying a set of rules or following a certain doctrine – we are entering into a deep and meaningful connection with the living God.

But what does it mean to love God? It means to put Him first in our lives, to prioritize His will and His ways above our own desires and interests. It means to trust Him, to obey Him, and to seek to please Him in all that we do. When we love God in this way, we can be confident that we are known by Him – that He sees us, hears us, and cares for us deeply.

So let us cultivate a deeper love for God in our lives, dear friends. Let us seek to know Him more intimately, to trust Him more fully, and to obey Him more faithfully. May we be those who are known by God, and may we experience the joy and blessing of a deep and loving relationship with Him.
