And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. – Hebrews 10:24

As believers, we are not meant to walk alone in our faith. We are called to be part of a community that encourages, supports, and motivates one another to live out our faith with intention and purpose. The writer of Hebrews reminds us that our relationship with Christ is not just about our individual walk, but also about how we interact with and influence those around us.

So, how can we “spur one another on toward love and good deeds”? We can start by being intentional about the company we keep. Are we surrounding ourselves with people who encourage us to love and serve others? We can also ask ourselves how we can use our words and actions to motivate those around us. Can we offer a kind word, a listening ear, or a helping hand to someone in need?

As we strive to live out this verse, let us remember that our ultimate goal is not to simply do good deeds, but to reflect the love and character of Christ to a world in need. May we be a community that spurs one another on toward love and good deeds, and may our lives be a testament to the transformative power of the gospel.
