Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. – Psalm 27:14

I cannot begin to imagine how hard it is to wait on a breakthrough, or healing, or that good news. Whatever it is, I know waiting is definitely challenging. It can feel like time is moving slowly, and our patience is constantly tested. We must understand, that this is a time of growth, reflection and preparation. Setting us up for what is to come, which is much greater than what we envisioned. Our verse for today is challenging us to be wait. Wait on God for the healing, the good news, that breakthrough. Just wait.

In moments of waiting, when time seems to linger, and uncertainty clouds our hearts, the psalmist challenges us to lean on the unwavering promises of God. Therefore, as we navigate the seasons of waiting in our lives, let us anchor ourselves in the unshakable truth that the Lord’s timing is perfect, His love is unending, and His promises are steadfast. May we find strength in the waiting, take heart in His presence, and trust wholeheartedly in His divine plan for us. Let us wait with hope, knowing that in His time, our waiting will be rewarded with blessings beyond measure.
