Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” – John 20:29

Our verse for today invited us to ponder the essence of faith – a faith that transcends the tangible and rests on the unseen truths of God’s kingdom. Just as Thomas needed to see to believe, we are called to a deeper faith that trusts in God’s promises even when they are not visible to our eyes.

In our walk of faith, we are reminded of the blessing that comes from believing without seeing. It is a faith rooted in the unwavering character of God, a faith that perseveres through challenges and uncertainties, knowing that God’s love and power are ever-present. As we navigate the complexities of life, may we hold fast to the unseen realities of God’s kingdom, drawing strength from our belief in His promises and His faithfulness to those who trust in Him.

Let us embrace the call to faith that goes beyond what our eyes can perceive, a faith that is bold, unwavering, and deeply rooted in the truth of God’s word. As we journey in faith, may we be like those blessed souls who believe without seeing, finding joy and peace in the assurance that comes from trusting in the unseen yet ever-present love of our Lord. Amen.
