For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. – Psalm 1:6

In the tapestry of life, God’s divine eye gazes upon the righteous, guiding their steps with a gentle hand, illuminating their path with wisdom and grace. The promise of protection and guidance weaves through the fabric of our journey as believers, offering solace in times of uncertainty and light in moments of darkness.

Conversely, the wicked wander a treacherous road, where shadows loom large and destruction lurks at every turn. Their choices lead them astray, away from the light of righteousness, towards a desolate land where the echoes of their deeds reverberate through the barren landscape, a stark reminder of the consequences of their ways.

Today’s verse gives us re-assurance of God’s love and protection over our lives and draws the line between the righteous and the wicked. It is also a call for all who walk in iniquity to turn to God and leave their ways behind. As we go about our day, let us rest in the assurance of God’s protection and guidance while we pray for our family and loved ones who are yet to turn to God. May the good Lord help us, Amen.
