Armloads of Blessings

“Those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.” – Psalm 126:6

Everybody has experienced heartbreak due to a death in the family, an unfavorable medical report, or mistreatment at work. Sometimes it seems like the ache will never go away. However, our scripture for today promises that even in the midst of a heavy heart, you will return home happy and full of blessings.

God will make you stronger than you were before he delivers you from that situation.

Today, you may be carrying burdens, carrying sorrow, carrying pain, but God is about to do an exchange. Instead of carrying the sorrow, how about giving joy a chance? Instead of carrying the hurt and loneliness from a divorce, how about having someone great walk into your life? Now you’re laughing, now you’re dreaming, living a victorious life. That’s how good God is.

Scripture tells us that our “going out and coming in will be blessed.” Whatever you are going through or have been through, I pray that you come out stronger, healthier, promoted, and at a new level of your destiny. From this day onward, may you never go out with a heavy heart. May your going out be blessed, and may your coming in be blessed. In Jesus name, Amen.
